I recently had the pleasure of staying at Du Rocher, and I must say, it far exceeded my already high expectations. Upon my arrival, I was amazed by the old-fashioned charm that radiated from the hotel's exterior, a stark contrast to its humble appearance. Despite facing an unexpected late arrival due to EV charging issues, the exceptional staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, even in the pouring rain, showcasing true dedication and care.The level of service continued to impress as I discovered the spacious and impeccably clean room, complete with a large ensuite that boasted an abundance of very hot water-a true luxury during my travels. The complimentary Wi-Fi in the room provided seamless connectivity, allowing me to stay connected effortlessly. The staff's honesty, friendliness, and eagerness to assist further elevated my experience, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest.As a history teacher with a penchant for French culture, the hotel's proximity to Le Fournil Du Larzac, O'Resto, and Auberge de Roc Castel provided me with the perfect opportunity to indulge in the local culinary delights and immerse myself in the charming surroundings. Du Rocher not only met but exceeded all my stringent criteria for a remarkable stay, making it a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers seeking an exceptional experience in a quaint and unspoiled village setting.
